about the artist

Hi! I’m Kathryn McGuire - full time artist and owner of Chromatic Clay. I currently work and teach in the beautiful studio space of Hollowed Earth Pottery in Greenville, South Carolina. I graduated from Winthrop University in 2014 with a Fine Arts degree in Ceramics and Illustration. I developed my hand-lettering skill through many years of work as a sign artist and merchandiser for a nationwide grocery store. I am also a music festival, plant, and outdoor adventure enthusiast.
